The renovation of the building, which houses one of the plants of the Spanish multinational company, a leader in the production of glass bottles and containers using sustainable technology, is a concrete example of Moretti Modular Contractor’s ability to manage significant construction sites within operating industrial sites. In particular, the work was carried out in two phases, precisely to allow the company’s production activities to continue on one of the two furnaces. Each of the two phases saw the demolition of the old kiln and the structure that housed it and their replacement with a new building that blends perfectly with the pre-existing surrounding structures.

The renovation work covered a total area of approximately 4,000 m². Moretti Modular Contractor was responsible for the construction of the prefabricated structure, the sheet metal roofing and the infills, which were built using a metal frame and straight corrugated sheets. The structure is supported, in the highest part, by pillars 30 m high under the beam, built in two sections – 20.00 + 10.00 m – and joined at 20 m height. This complex and delicate operation was made possible thanks to the considerable technical know-how and consolidated experience of Moretti Modular Contractor’s site personnel.
